Experimenting with different techniques according to the content and the meaning of the carpet design.

Example one
The main shape included in the following two carpet designs is the rectangular. That’s why I have used two extra rectangular white pieces of paper to add extra elements to the designs. The folded paper (top left), adds extra harsh corners in the composition too.

Example two
The following carpet design consists of flowers. The shapes and the colours of the carpet create an abstract pattern which I think can be completed with the scrunching effect of the page itself.
